Alex Vlasic (No. 43 overall, Chicago): His cousin is San Jose Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

Nicholas Robertson (No. 53 overall, Toronto): His brother, Jason, was selected 39th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2017 NHL Draft and led all OHL skaters with 117 points in 2018-19 (48-69—117).

Albert Johansson (No. 60 overall, Detroit): His father, Roger, was a fourth-round selection of the Calgary Flames in the 1985 NHL Draft (80th overall) and appeared in 161 career NHL games with the Flames and Chicago Blackhawks from 1989-90 to 1994-95.

Matthew Stienberg (No. 63 overall, Colorado): His father, Trevor, was drafted 15th overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1984 NHL Draftand skated in 71 career NHL games with the club from 1985-86 to 1988-89.

John Ludvig (No. 69 overall, Florida): His father, Jan, skated in 314 career NHL games with the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres.

John Farinacci (No. 76 overall, Arizona): His uncle, Ted Donato, was a fifth-round pick of the Boston Bruins in the 1987 NHL Draft (98th overall) and went on to appear in 796 career NHL games with the Bruins, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers. His cousin, Ryan Donato, was selected 56th overall by the Bruins in 2014 and currently plays for the Minnesota Wild.

Anttoni Honka (No. 83 overall, Carolina): His brother, Julius, is a defenseman who was selected 14th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2014 NHL Draft. He has appeared in 87 NHL games with the Stars from 2016-17 to 2018-19 (2-11—13 in 87 GP).

Quinn Olson (No. 92 overall, Boston): His brother, Kyle, was a fourth-round selection by the Anaheim Ducks in 2017 (122nd overall) and skated for the WHL’s Tri-City Americans in 2018-19.

Tyce Thompson (No. 96 overall, New Jersey): His father, Brent, was selected 39th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1989 NHL Draftand skated in 121 career NHL games with the Kings, Winnipeg Jets and Phoenix Coyotes. His brother, Tage, was selected 26th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2016 NHL Draft and played for the Buffalo Sabres in 2018-19.

Lucas Feuk (No. 116 overall, Calgary): His father, Tomaz Eriksson, was a fourth-round selection of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1987 NHL Draft (83rd overall) and had a 14-season professional career in Sweden.

Maxwell Crozier (No. 120 overall, Tampa Bay): His father, Jim, was a goaltender who was selected 19th overall by the Hartford Whalers in the 1990 NHL Supplemental Draft out of Cornell University.

Antti Saarela (No. 123 overall, Chicago): His brother, Aleksi, was selected 89th overall by the New York Rangers in the 2015 NHL Draft and is currently a member of the Carolina Hurricanes organization where he won the AHL’s Calder Cup championship with the Charlotte Checkers in 2018-19.

Mark Kastelic (No. 125 overall, Ottawa): His father, Ed, was selected 110th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1982 NHL Draft and skated in 220 career NHL games with the Capitals and Hartford Whalers from 1985-92. His grandfather, Pat Stapleton, played 635 career NHL games across 10 seasons with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks from 1961-73. His uncle, Mike Stapleton, was drafted 132nd overall by Chicago in 1984 and appeared in 697 career NHL games with the Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Atlanta Thrashers, New York Islanders and Vancouver Canucks.

Cooper Moore (No. 128 overall, Detroit): His uncle, Dave Ellett, was selected 75th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1982 NHL Draft and patrolled the blue line for 1,129 career NHL games with the Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues.

Rhett Pitlick (No. 131 overall, Montreal): His father, Lance, was a ninth-round pick in the 1986 NHL Draft by the Minnesota North Stars and skated in 393 career NHL games with the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers. His cousin, Tyler Pitlick, was selected 31st overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Draft and currently plays for the Dallas Stars.

Harrison Blaisdell (No. 134 overall, Winnipeg): His father, Mike, was selected 11th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1980 NHL Draftand produced 70-84—154 in 343 career NHL Games with the Red Wings, Rangers, Penguins and Maple Leafs.

Mason Primeau (No. 141 overall, Vegas): His father, Wayne, was drafted 17th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1994 NHL Draft and skated in 774 career NHL games with the Sabres, Tampa Bay Lightning, Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames and Toronto Maple Leafs. His uncles, Keith Primeau (909 GP) and Derrick Smith (537 GP) also played in the NHL.

Matvey Guskov (No. 149 overall, Minnesota): His father, Alexander, was a seventh-round selection of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2003 NHL Draft (200th overall) and had a 21-season professional career playing in his native Russia.

Bryce Brodzinski (No. 196 overall, Philadelphia): His brother, Johnny, was a fifth-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft by the Los Angeles Kings (148th overall) and has appeared in 54 games with the NHL club over the past three seasons. His other brother, Michael, was a fifth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2013 (141st overall) and skated with their AHL team in 2018-19.

Juuso Parssinen (No. 210 overall, Nashville): His father, Timo, was a fourth-round selection of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2001 NHL Draft(102nd overall) and recorded 0-3—3 in 17 games with the NHL club during the 2001-02 season.

TRADES ON DAY 2 OF THE DRAFT

Toronto traded C Patrick Marleau, its 1st-round pick in the 2020 or 2021 NHL Draft and 7th-round pick in 2020 to Carolina for Carolina's 6th-round pick in 2020. Should Toronto's 1st-round pick in 2020 be picks 1 through 10, Toronto will instead transfer its 1st-round pick in 2021.

Nashville traded D PK Subban to New Jersey for D Steven Santini, D Jeremy Davies, New Jersey's 2nd-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft(34th overall) and 2nd-round pick in 2020.

Tampa Bay traded C J.T. Miller to Vancouver for G Marek Mazanec, Vancouver's 3rd-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft (71st overall) and a conditional 1st-round pick in 2020.

Chicago traded RW John Hayden to New Jersey for C John Quenneville.

Nashville traded New Jersey's 2nd-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft (previously acquired, 34th overall) to Philadelphia for Arizona's 2nd-round pick in 2019 (previously acquired, 45th overall) and New Jersey's 3rd-round pick in 2019 (previously acquired, 65th overall).

Carolina traded NY Rangers' 2nd-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft (previously acquired, 37th overall) to Ottawa for Florida's 2nd-round pick in 2019 (previously acquired, 44th overall) and Pittsburgh's 3rd-round pick in 2019 (previously acquired, 83rd overall).

San Jose traded Philadelphia's 2nd-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft (previously acquired, 41st overall) to Vegas for Vegas' 2nd-round pick in 2019 (48th overall) and Winnipeg's 3rd-round pick in 2019 (82nd overall).
