While it’s still too early to tell, I’m beginning to think I was right when I said Forsberg wasn’t the answer to anyone’s problem. He continues to feel uncomfortable with his surgically repaired right foot, and it has eroded his confidence.
Nashville paid a huge price for Forsberg, giving up two regulars, and first- and third-round draft picks, and so far the returns have been negligible. While Forsberg appears to be responsible for a sharp rise in attendance, he has been a bust on the ice. He has gone three games without a point. More importantly, the Predators have only one win in three games since Forsberg came aboard.
