Nolan Headed Towards Arbitrator

from the Toronto Sun,
The Owen Nolan case appears to be set to go before an arbitrator. It's expected the Maple Leafs and Nolan's representatives will begin to argue their sides in New York on May 16 or 17. The Leafs and Nolan have been at odds since Nolan suffered a knee injury, which required surgery. The injury led to a series of grievances. The Nolan camp contends the injury occurred while he was playing for Toronto late in the 2003-04 season. The Leafs contend Nolan was deemed healthy by the start of the lockout year and that he is owed nothing.
