No Prognosis On Crosby Injury Today

via the Pittsburgh Penguins,

Sidney Crosby was examined by Penguins trainers on Saturday, but a prognosis will not be known until next week.

Crosby’s injured right ankle will be examined thoroughly within the next couple days once the swelling decreases.

Sidney Crosby underwent treatment Saturday in Pittsburgh on what was inititially diagnosed as a high ankle sprain.

Sources say the treatment was very painful for the reigning MVP and Crosby will have an MRI on Monday to officially diagnose the injury to his right leg.
