Patrick Kane’s attorney says the Blackhawks hockey star learned some painful lessons during his three-month ordeal as the subject of a rape investigation.
And Paul J. Cambria Jr. predicts that Kane will not get in such a situation again.
“Even though the investigation showed that Patrick did nothing wrong, he knows he put himself into a situation where someone could make a claim against him,” Cambria told The Buffalo News. “He’s a good kid from a strong family. He’s very close to his two sisters and his parents. He would never put them through something like this again.
“Going forward, I don’t think we’re ever going to see him as the subject of a controversy like this, ever again,” the defense lawyer added.
