The Oilers have named four alternate captains for the upcoming season:
- Andrew Ference
- Taylor Hall
- Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
- Jordan EberleCoach McLellan also stated that with Eberle's injury, Matt Hendricks will also rotate in with an 'A'.
