Niedermayer Has Surgery

via Sports Ticker,
Mighty Ducks of Anaheim defenceman Scott Niedermayer could miss up four weeks after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Monday. Dr. Ronald Glousman performed the surgery at Kerlan-Job Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, which resulted in the removal of a medial meniscus tear. Niedermayer is expected to be sidelined three to four weeks. With the Olympic break, the Mighty Ducks are off until facing Detroit on March 1.
