NHL Should Drop 8 Games In Olympic Year

from Eric Duhatshek of the Globe and Mal,
The NHL schedule should be reduced from 82 to 74 games by dropping eight divisional games from the schedule....That averages out to one lost home date per year over a four-year period. If a team can't lose one home gate per year to accommodate the Olympics, maybe it doesn't belong in the NHL to begin with.
