NHL scoring is up, attendance is up and revenues are up. But perhaps the most significant change in the NHL after a year without hockey took place not on the ice, but in corporate boardrooms. "No sports entrepreneur would ever let me talk about investing in an NHL franchise for at least the last five years," said Rick Horrow, a sports business consultant. "Now it's taking place in conversation again, really for the first time in nearly a decade."
