NHL Not Ready For Las Vegas

In a recent interview, Don Logan, the president and general manager of the 51s, the AAA farm club of the Los Angeles Dodgers which is located in Las Vegas responded to this question.

Which major sport do you expect to plant its flag here first?
I would have told you baseball a year ago. I think Oscar really laid the groundwork for the interest for that. I think that’s probably shifting a little bit to the NBA right now because of the NBA All-Star Game coming here. I think those are the only two legitimate candidates. The NHL certainly has got much bigger issues to overcome than that. They’re struggling in some markets that they’re already in.
