NHL Draft Preview: Taylor or Tyler?

Will Taylor or Tyler be No. 1.?

Edmonton Oilers GM Steve Tambellini will provide the answer when he steps up the microphone Staples Center in Los Angeles Friday and announces the top selection in the NHL entry draft.

While there’s not much of a gap between Windsor Spitfires winger Taylor Hall and Plymouth Whalers centre Tyler Seguin, one is going to be the cornerstone of the Oilers’ rebuilding program.

“I believe both are going to be ready to play next year,” said Boston GM Peter Chiarelli, who will select second with a pick he acquired last year from the Maple Leafs, who got back Phil Kessel.
