Ever wonder how they create video game animations? Over the last decade, video game programmers have utilized motion capture technology to capture a subject's movement. Check out this video of the EA NHL 07 team working with Alex Auld to capture goalie movement. I have to say that the goalies look pretty impressive.
If you watch the NHL and play our game, there's not going to be much of a difference.
