STREAKING TEAMS LOOK TO STAY HOT . . .
Multiple teams look to extend their respective winning streaks on Thursday:

* The Predators (10-5-2, 22 points) aim for their sixth consecutive win when they visit the Wild (8-7-2, 18 points) at Xcel Energy Center. Nashville looks to record a six-game win streak for the first time since Feb. 7-17, 2015 (also 6-0-0). Meanwhile, Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk enters the contest with shutouts in his last three appearances. Dubnyk, who has made 106 consecutive saves through a franchise-record shutout streak of 196:20, looks to become the first goaltender to post four consecutive shutouts since Brian Boucher recorded five straight from Dec. 31, 2003 – Jan. 9, 2004 (w/ PHX).

* The League-leading Lightning (14-2-2, 30 points) look to extend their win streak to five games when they take on the Stars (9-8-1, 19 points) at Amalie Arena. Tampa Bay can become the first team to hit the 15-win mark through the first 19 games of a season since Dallas in 2015-16 (15-4-0, 30 points).

* The Maple Leafs (12-7-0, 24 points) look to record a season-high fifth consecutive win when they host the Devils (11-4-2, 24 points) at Air Canada Centre.

. . . STREAKING PLAYERS LOOK TO DO THE SAME
Several players in action on Thursday look to extend point streaks:

* Stars forward Alexander Radulov (5-8—13) and Kings captain Anze Kopitar (3-8—11) each enter Thursday’s contests with career-high nine-game point streaks, the longest active point streaks in the NHL. Radulov aims to become the first Stars player to record at least one point in 10 consecutive games since Patrick Sharp in 2015-16 (6-9—15 in 12 GP), while Kopitar looks to become the first Kings player to accomplish the feat since Dustin Brown in 2011-12 (5-10—15 in 10 GP).

* Senators forward Mike Hoffman (3-8—11 in 8 GP), Senators captain Erik Karlsson (1-10—11 in 7 GP) and Jets forward Patrik Laine (5-2—7 in 6 GP) also enter Thursday’s contests with point streaks of at least six games.
