AGR SCORES FIRST GOAL WITH FLAMES, GAUDREAU COLLECTS THREE POINTS
Jaromir Jagr
(1-1—2) scored his first goal with the Flames and Johnny Gaudreau (2-1—3) extended his point streak to six games (4-6—10) as Calgary won for the fourth time in its past five outings. Elias notes that Jagr recorded his 540th career multi-point game, second in NHL history behind Wayne Gretzky (824).

* Jagr recorded multiple points in a game for the fourth time since celebrating his 45th birthday on Feb. 15. Only two other players in NHL history have recorded at least one multi-point game at age 45 or older – Gordie Howe(6) and Chris Chelios (1). Howe is the only player to register a three-point game at age 45 or older (Nov. 2, 1979 vs. TOR).

* Jagr, who has 766-1,152—1,918 in 1,718 career games, notched an assist on Mark Jankowski’s first NHL goal during the first period. It marked the 12th time that Jagr has set up a teammate’s first career goal – he last did so while with the Rangers, setting up DanGirardi’s first career goal on Oct. 18, 2007.

* Gaudreau, who led the Flames in assists and points in each of the past two seasons, has registered at least one point in 13 of 16 games in 2017-18 and ranks third in League scoring with 6-16—22 overall.

STAMKOS, KUCHEROV CONTINUE TO FIND THE SCORE SHEET
Nikita Kucherov (1-2—3) and Steven Stamkos (1-1—2) each registered multiple points for the second straight night to power the League-leading Lightning (13-2-2, 28 points) to their third straight win.

* Elias notes that Stamkos, who leads the NHL with 8-22—30, became just the second player in the past 11 seasons to collect at least 30 points in his team’s first 17 games of a season, joining Evgeni Malkin who did so in 2008-09 with the Penguins (7-23—30 in 17 GP).

* Nikita Kucherov leads all players with 16 goals and ranks second with 29 points this season (17 GP). In 2016-17, when Kucherov established career highs in goals (40) and points (85), he hit the 29-point mark on Dec. 3 (25 GP) and tallied his 16th goal on Jan. 7 (34 GP).

EMOTIONAL BOYLE SCORES FIRST GOAL IN DEVILS UNIFORM
Brian Boyle, who signed with the Devils in July and was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in September, notched his first goal of the season. Click the photo below to watch the goal and hear from Boyle.

"I've never cried after a goal before. . . I'm not playing tonight and I'm not here if not for my wife and my family and these guys in here. I try to separate it, but it's a little bit bigger tonight than probably ever."

ZUCKER RECORDS FIRST CAREER HAT TRICK IN WILD VICTORY
Jason Zucker
scored all three Wild goals to record his first career hat trick and help Minnesota end a three-game slide. Elias notes that Zucker – who scored both Wild goals in Toronto on Wednesday (4-2 L) – joined Marian Gaborik as the only players in franchise history to record a natural hat trick.
