BOESER, KELLER CONTINUE TO IMPRESS IN ROOKIE CAMPAIGNS
Rookies Brock Boeser (3-1—4) and Clayton Keller (1-0—1) each scored on Saturday to propel their clubs to victory:

* Elias notes that Boeser (20 years, 252 days), who scored his first NHL hat trick, became the third-youngest player in franchise history to score three goals in a game and the first Canucks rookie to register four points in a game since Peter Schaefer on March 24, 2000 vs. ANA. He ranks second among rookies with 5-8—13 in 10 games this season.

* Elias notes that Keller, who leads NHL rookies with 10-6—16 in 15 games, became the second rookie inCoyotes/Jets franchise history to hit the 10-goal mark within the first 15 games of a season. Teemu Selanneachieved the feat in his first 11 games with the Jets in 1992-93 en route to shattering the NHL single-season record for goals by a rookie, finishing with 76 goals in 84 games.

DID YOU KNOW?
There have been 16 hat tricks in 2017-18 (212 GP), the most through the first 212 games of a season since 1996-97 (18).

LAGACE BECOMES THIRD VEGAS GOALIE TO RECORD FIRST NHL WIN
Maxime Lagace made 24 saves to earn the first win of his NHL career and help the Golden Knights improve to 9-4-0 (18 points). Vegas became just the second team in the 100-year history of the NHL to reach nine wins in 13 or fewer games during its inaugural season.

* Legace (1-3-0) became the third Golden Knights goaltender to earn his first career win this season, joiningOscar Dansk and Malcolm Subban.

* Elias notes that Vegas became the 12th team in NHL history – and first since the Islanders in 2010-11 – to have at least three different goaltenders record their first career win in the same season. The 1985-86 Devils are the only team to have more than three goaltenders achieve the feat in one season (Craig Billington, Alain Chevrier, Kirk McLean and Sam St. Laurent).

STAMKOS, SCHWARTZ CONTINUE HOT STARTS, HELP CLUBS DO THE SAME
The Lightning (11-2-2, 24 points) and Blues (11-3-1, 23 points) each earned victories to match their franchise’s best 15-game starts to a season:

* Steven Stamkos scored in regulation and potted the decisive marker in the shootout to help Tampa Bay hit 11 wins in its first 15 games for the third time in franchise history (11-3-1 in 2014-15 and 11-4-0 in 2013-14). Stamkos leads the League with 7-18—25 this season, recording at least one point in 13 of 15 contests.

* Jaden Schwartz (0-3—3) and Brayden Schenn (0-4—4) combined for seven assists to help the Blues win 11 of their first 15 games of a season for the sixth time in franchise history. Schwartz ranks third in the NHL with 8-12—20 this season, while Schenn recorded his first career four-point game (448 GP).

COGLIANO SKATES IN 800TH CONSECUTIVE GAME
Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano became the fourth player in NHL history to play in 800 consecutive games at any point in his career and only the second to do so beginning with his League debut (also Doug Jarvis).

TEAMS WIN BACK-AND-FORTH AFFAIRS IN EXTRA TIME
Three teams earned wins in extra time following several lead changes in regulation:

* The Canadiens overcame a 4-2 deficit in the third period and Max Pacioretty (1-2—3) notched his ninth career regular-season overtime goal (all w/ MTL) to move into a tie with Aurel Joliat and Howie Morenz for the most franchise history.

* The Rangers surrendered two game-tying goals in the third period, but Kevin Shattenkirk scored his second goal of the contest at 1:08 of overtime to power New York to is third straight win.

* Mikko Rantanen (1-0—1) scored the decisive marker in the shootout to lift Colorado to its third consecutive win and an 8-5-0 record overall this season. The Avalanche visit the Islanders today in their final contest before heading overseas to play a doubleheader against the Senators in the 2017 SAP NHL Global Series.
