LINDBERG, LUNDQVIST HELP RANGERS EVEN SERIES
Oscar Lindberg scored twice and Henrik Lundqvist made 22 saves as the Rangers evened their Second Round series with the Senators at 2-2.
* The Rangers tied a series after facing a 2-0 deficit for the first time since the 2013 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals vs. WSH. New York went on to win that series in seven games.
* Lindberg registered his first career multi-goal game in the postseason (12 GP). He has one such outing in 134 career regular-season games (Oct. 10, 2015 vs. CBJ).
* Lundqvist earned his 61st career playoff win to tie Tom Barrasso for 13th place in NHL history. He improved to 6-4 in the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs, including a 4-1 clip at Madison Square Garden (1.42 GAA, .947 SV%).
* Elias notes that when teams are tied 2-2 in a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs series, the winner of Game 5 holds an all-time series record of 196-54 (78.7%), including a 3-0 mark in 2017.
