PREDS WIN LONGEST GAME OF 2016 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS, EVEN SERIES
Mike Fisher (2-0—2) scored his second goal of the game at 11:12 of the third overtime period to help the Predators win the longest game of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs and even their series with the Sharks at two games apiece.


* The Predators, who tied the game with 4:21 remaining in regulation, improved to 3-7 in all-time playoff overtime games and earned their first such victory on home ice (1-3). Half of their postseason overtimes games have required multiple extra frames, including each of their past three (0-2 vs. CHI in 2015 FR).

* The Predators tied a best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs series at 2-2 after losing the first two games for the third time in franchise history (also 2004 and 2008 CQFs, both vs. DET).

* Both playoff overtime games between the Sharks and Predators have extended past the first extra session. Sharks forward Patrick Rissmiller scored the winner in Game 1 of the 2007 Conference Quarterfinals (88:14) in the Predators’ first-ever playoff overtime game.

* Fisher, who has one other multi-goal game in the postseason (Game 1 of 2011 CQF at ANA), registered his second career playoff overtime goal (also Game 6 of 2004 CQF vs. TOR w/ OTT).

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: TRIPLE-OVERTIME
At 111:12, the Predators played the longest game in franchise history, eclipsing the previous mark of 101:00 set on April 21, 2015 at CHI (3-2 L in Game 4 of FR).

The contest was the second-longest in Sharks history, behind a 129:03 game on May 4, 2008 at DAL (2-1 L in Game 6 of CSF) that stands as the eighth-longest game in Stanley Cup Playoffs history.

EAKIN, STARS EVEN SERIES WITH OT WIN
Cody Eakin (1-0—1) notched his first career playoff overtime goal to lift the Stars to a Game 4 victory and even their series at 2-2.

* Eakin, who has two overtime goals in 319 career regular-season games, has collected 3-10—13 in 16 career postseason contests (2 GWG).

* Jamie Benn notched two assists to maintain his position as the top point-producer in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs (5-9—14).

* The Stars/North Stars franchise improved to 30-39 in all-time playoff overtime games, including a 17-17 mark on the road and 7-11 clip against the Blues.

OVERTIME: DID YOU KNOW?
Six of 15 games thus far in the Second Round have required overtime, including each of the past three and four in the past three days.

* Overall, 13 of 62 games in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs have required overtime, with road teams holding a 7-6 advantage. Four contests have extended past the first extra session, with home and road teams each winning twice.

GALLANT, RUFF AND TROTZ VOTED JACK ADAMS AWARD FINALISTS
The NHL announced that Florida’s Gerard Gallant, Dallas’ Lindy Ruff and Washington’sBarry Trotz are the three finalists for the 2015-16 Jack Adams Award, presented to the head coach who has "contributed the most to his team's success.”

NHL RALLIES TO SUPPORT FORT MCMURRAY WILDFIRE RELIEF
The NHL announced that it is donating $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts in Fort McMurray, Alta., joining the Oilers and Flames – the League’s two Alberta-based teams – who each contributed the same amount on Wednesday.

Blues forward Scottie Upshall, a Fort McMurray native, recorded a special message to rally support for the team’s 50/50 raffle – which raised funds for relief efforts.

LOOSE PUCKS
Predators forward Colin Wilson (1-2—3), who scored 41 seconds after the opening face-off, extended his point streak to five games (3-4—7) to match the longest such run in franchise playoff history . . . San Jose’s Brent Burns (2-0—2) became the third defenseman in franchise history to score multiple goals in a playoff game, joining Sandis Ozolinsh (Game 2 of 1995 CQF at CGY) and Dan Boyle (Game 3 of 2009 CQF at ANA) . . .Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko (1-1—2) scored his sixth goal of the postseason, one back of Nikita Kucherov for the League lead . . . The Panthers signed forwardJaromir Jagr to a one-year contract. Jagr, 44, led the club in scoring with 27-39—66 in 2015-16, becoming the oldest player in League history to surpass the 60-point plateau . . . The Coyotes named JohnChayka, 26, as general manager and signed head coach DaveTippett to five-year contract extension. Click here for more information . . .
