DISCOVER NHL THANKSGIVING SHOWDOWN ON NBC
The Boston Bruins host the New York Rangers at the TD Garden in a matchup of Original Six teams. Boston has won four in a row, matching its longest winning streak of the season. New York has posted a 13-2-2 record in its last 17 games, including an 11-2-0 record in its last 13 games. Since Mar. 24, 2007, 22 of the 30 meetings between the Rangers and Bruins have been decided by one goal, and eight of those contests have been decided in either overtime or a shootout.

BLACKHAWKS FACE DUCKS IN WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL REMATCH
The Anaheim Ducks begin a six-game homestand against the Chicago Blackhawks at Honda Center. This is the ninth time the Ducks have hosted the Blackhawks on Black Friday, with the Ducks posting a 4-3-1 record in those eight previous contests. Patrick Kane is on a career-high 17 game point streak (10-18—28). He leads the league with 34 points and 21 assists; he is tied for second with 13 goals. Since returning from a four-game absence due to an appendectomy on Nov. 6, Ryan Getzlaf (1-13—14) leads the NHL in assists and is tied for third in scoring.

LIGHTNING VISIT CAPITALS IN A BATTLE OF STREAKING TEAMS
Washington concludes its season-long, five-game homestand against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Both teams are riding three game winning streaks. The Capitals are 15-5-1 (31 points) this season, marking the team’s second best start (in terms of points and wins) in franchise history. Alex Ovechkin and Steven Stamkos, who have combined to win the Maurice Richard Trophy seven times, have faced each other 31 times in regular-season play and the Capitals have posted a 22-7-2 record in those games. Ovechkin has scored a goal in 15 of those 31 games and is (19-25—44), while Stamkos has (13-12—25).

CANUCKS TAKE ON THE WESTERN CONFERENCE’S TOP TEAM IN DALLAS
The Stars 17-5-0 record is the team’s best mark through the first 22 games of a season in franchise history. Jamie Benn is riding a six game point streak (6-5—11) as is Tyler Seguin (3-5—8). Meanwhile, the Sedin Twins are also hot, Daniel Sedin has a six game point streak on the line (5-5—10) and Henrik Sedin has (2-7—9) during a five game run. Dallas is riding an eight-game winning streak against the Canucks.
