GAUDREAU, FLAMES CONTINUE OVERTIME DOMINANCE
Johnny Gaudreau (1-1—2) scored at 1:38 of overtime to power the Flames to a 5-1-0 record in their last six games at Scotiabank Saddledome following a 0-4-0 start at home.

DRAISAITL, HALL (AGAIN) IGNITE OILERS’ OFFENSE
Leon Draisaitl and Taylor Hall both posted 1-2—3 to power the Oilers to a 3-2-1 record in their past six games at Rexall Place.

* Draisaitl, who was recalled from the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) on Oct. 29, has 7-10—17 in his first 10 outings of the season, including 4-6—10 during a career-high five-game point streak. He had 2-7—9 in his first 37 NHL appearances.

* Per Elias, Draisaitl became the first Oilers player to collect 17 (or more) points in his first 10 personal appearances of a season since 1989-90, when Mark Messier also notched 7-10—17 in his first 10 games.

* Hall also extended his point streak to five games (3-5—8). He ranks fourth in the NHL with 9-15—24 this season (20 GP), including 5-11—16 in 10 games since Draisaitl’s recall.

AROUND THE RINKS
* Sergei Bobrovsky stopped all 39 shots he faced, highlighted by a cross-crease toe save in the second period, to record his 12th career shutout (first this season) and guide the Blue Jackets to their fourth victory in their past five outings. Bobrovsky, who went 2-8-0 in his first 10 appearances of the season (3.97 GAA, .865 SV%), improved to 6-1-0 in his last seven outings (1.72 GAA, .946 SV%).

* Mike Green and Dylan Larkin scored 2:23 apart in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie and help the Red Wings extend their point streak to three contests (2-0-1). Larkin, 19, scored for the third consecutive game (3-0—3). Elias says that he became the first teenager to record a goal in three straight games for the Red Wings since 1984-85, whenSteve Yzerman posted a pair of four-game goal streaks.

* Nazem Kadri potted the tying goal with 3:33 remaining in regulation and Joffrey Lupulscored the winner in the fifth round of the shootout to lift the Maple Leafs to their fifth victory in their past six contests. James Reimer made 33 saves to extend his personalwinning streak to five games (1.36 GAA, .960 SV%), one shy of his career high established Feb. 7 – March 6, 2013.

STREAKING
* Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane collected one assist to extend his point streak to a career-high 15 games (10-15—25). Via Elias, Kane – who leads the League in goals, assists and points this season (13-18—31 in 20 GP) – became the first Blackhawks player to post a 15-game point streak since Oct. 26 – Nov. 28, 1995 (Chris Chelios: 4-16—20 in 15 GP).

* Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher scored to extend his point streak to a career-high seven games (4-5—9).

* Kings forward Tyler Toffoli notched one assist to extend his point streak to a career-high six games (1-6—7).

* Islanders forward Brock Nelson (2-0—2) registered his second career multi-goal game – and first since Oct. 10, 2014 at CAR (2-2—4) – to extend his point streak to a career-high five games (5-3—8) and goal streak to a career-high four games (5-1—6).

MILESTONES & BENCHMARKS
* Hurricanes defenseman Jaccob Slavin, a fourth-round selection (120th overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft, made his League debut (13:30 TOI).

* Defenseman Mike Green scored his first goal with the Red Wings (14 GP).
