PERFECT AT HOME
The Canadiens and Wild earned wins to remain the only NHL teams without a loss of any kind at home this season:

* Via Elias, the Canadiens are 4-0-0 through their first four home games of a season for the fifth time in the last 39 years. The other instances in that span: 1976-77 (5-0-0), 1979-80 (6-0-0), 2000-01 (4-0-0) and 2014-15 (4-0-0).

* Devan Dubnyk stopped all 15 shots he faced to help the Wild improve to 3-0-0 at home this season and earn their first win against the Ducks at Xcel Energy Center since Feb. 18, 2011, snapping a six-game skid (0-5-1). Dubnyk owns a 5-1-0 record this season, and is 32-10-2 with six shutouts in 45 games as a member of the Wild.

CRAWFORD, TOEWS GUIDE CHICAGO IN STANLEY CUP REMATCH
Corey Crawford denied all 21 shots he faced and Jonathan Toews scored the lone goal17 seconds into the extra frame to lift the Blackhawks past the Lightning in their first meeting since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, a 2-0 series-clinching victory by Chicago.

* Via Elias, the Blackhawks are the third team in NHL history – and the first in 55 years – to clinch the Stanley Cup with a shutout and then blank their Final opponent in their first meeting of the next season. The 1934 Blackhawks also accomplished the feat with a 1-0 victory in Game 4 of the Final vs. DET and then a 4-0 decision in their first meeting of 1934-35. The other such instance: 1960 Canadiens vs. TOR (4-0 in Game 4 of SCF; 5-0 in first meeting of 1960-61).

* Crawford recorded his 13th career shutout and extended his shutout streak against the Lightning to 149:17 dating to 10:53 of the second period in Game 5 of the 2015 Stanley Cup Final.

* Elias adds that Toews’ goal was the third-fastest overtime goal by a Blackhawks player since the extra period was introduced in 1983-84, behind Steve Larmer (0:08) on Oct. 25, 1990 vs. WSH and MarkBell (0:15) on Dec. 11, 2003 vs. DET.

* Toews scored his fourth career overtime goal, tying Marian Hossa for third in franchise history (since OT was introduced in 1983-84). Only Patrick Sharp (eight) and Brent Seabrook (six) have more such goals for the club.

60 IS NOT ENOUGH
In addition to the Lightning/Blackhawks contest, four other games required extra time on Saturday. In total, four of the five games that went past regulation on Saturday ended in overtime, with one requiring a shootout:

* Trailing 2-0 after the second period, the Red Wings scored twice in a span of 2:34 – on goals by Teemu Pulkkinen (1-0—1) and Tomas Tatar (1-1—2) – before Gustav Nyquist completed the comeback in overtime. Nyquist notched his 11th career game-winning goal and third in the extra frame (also Feb. 26, 2014 at MTL and Dec. 27, 2014 at OTT). Petr Mrazek made 30 saves – and notched the lone assist in overtime – to earn his second win of the season.

* Ahead 2-0 at the outset of the third period, the Islanders yielded two Blues goals beforeMikhail Grabovski notched the winning tally with one minute remaining in overtime. Grabovski scored his fifth career overtime goal and first since Oct. 22, 2011 at MTL (w/ TOR). Thomas Greiss stopped 38 of 40 shots in victory, his second consecutive appearance facing more than 40 shots in a win (44 SV, 47 SA; Oct. 15 vs. NSH). Per Elias, Greiss is the first Islanders goaltender to win consecutive games while facing 40 or more shots on goal in each game since Nov. 21-25, 1998, when Tommy Salo did so in games against the Predators and the Flyers.

* Marc-Andre Fleury made 38 saves and Phil Kessel scored 41 seconds into overtimeto help the Penguins improve to 6-1-0 in their last seven meetings with the Predators dating to Oct. 21, 2010 (NSH: 1-4-2), including a four-game winning streak at Bridgestone Arena. Evgeni Malkin (0-2—2) factored on both Pittsburgh goals.

* Three nights after scoring in overtime at Boston, Flyers captain Claude Giroux scored his sixth career game-deciding shootout goal on a highlight-reel deke to guide his club past the Rangers in their first meeting of the campaign. Philadelphia improved to 6-2-0 in their last eight regular-season meetings with New York at Wells Fargo Center (dating to Jan. 24, 2013).

HAT TRICKS HALT SKIDS
Sharks forward Joel Ward (3-0—3) and Coyotes forward Mikkel Boedker (3-0—3) each posted a hat trick to help their clubs snap a losing streak:

* Boedker registered his first career hat trick and Anders Lindback made 35 saves in his first start with the Coyotes to help the club snap a four-game slide (0-3-1). There have been seven hat tricks in the NHL this season, including two by Arizona (also Anthony Duclair: Oct. 14 at ANA). Per Elias, this is just the second time in Coyotes/Jets franchise history that two players have registered October hat tricks in one season. The other:Teemu Selanne (Oct. 6, 1993 vs. WSH) and Keith Tkachuk (Oct. 23, 1993 at PHI).

* Ward posted his second career hat trick (also Nov. 1, 2013 at PHI w/ WSH) to help the Sharks snap a three-game skid and earn their first home win over the Hurricanes since Dec. 10, 2005 (0-2-2). Ward, who eclipsed 100 career goals (102-126—228), has 5-3—8 in 8 GP with the Sharks.

AROUND THE RINKS
* Six different Panthers found the back of the net to help the club improve to 7-2-0 in its last nine road games against the Stars dating to Jan. 18, 2002 (DAL: 2-5-2). Montoya made 33 saves to up his record to 2-0-0 this season (1.50 GAA, .948 SV%), while four different players – Jaromir Jagr (1-1—2), Nick Bjugstad (1-1—2), Jonathan Huberdeau (0-2—2) and Jussi Jokinen (0-2—2) – picked up multiple points. Jagr has six goals in his first eight games this season. According to Elias, the last time Jagr scored six or more goals in his first eight games of an NHL season was in 2005-06 with the Rangers, when as a 33-year-old he tallied seven goals in his first eight games.

* Trailing 3-2 after 40 minutes, Ryan Murray (1-1—2) and Brandon Dubinsky scored less than three minutes apart to propel the Blue Jackets to their first victory of 2015-16.Boone Jenner (2-0—2) and David Savard (0-2—2) also posted multiple points for Columbus, who improved to 5-2-0 in their last seven visits to Colorado dating to March 1, 2012 (COL: 2-4-1).

* AdamHenrique (2-1—3) equaled a career high with three points, including a shorthanded goal which stood as the game-winner, to power the Devils to their fourth consecutive victory. Mike Cammalleri (1-2—3) registered his second three-point effort in as many games and now has 2-6—8 in his last four outings.

DID YOU KNOW?
Ducks forward Andrew Cogliano played in his 629th consecutive game since making his League debut on Oct. 4, 2007 (w/ EDM). Only two players in NHL history have played more consecutive games to start their careers: Doug Jarvis (1975-88: 964 GP) – the League’s all-time consecutive games played leader – and Andy Hebenton (1955-64: 630 GP).

* Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette – who held the League’s second-longest active consecutive games played streak (at any point in a career) behind Cogliano – had his streak of 482 appearances (dating to March 7, 2009 w/ CBJ) end Saturday. Rangers defenseman KeithYandle (478 GP) now ranks second in consecutive games played among active players.

MILESTONES & BENCHMARKS
* John Tortorella earned his first victory as head coach of the Blue Jackets.

* Canucks captain Henrik Sedin played in his 1,100th career game (all w/ VAN) to become the second player in franchise history to reach the milestone (Trevor Linden: 1,140 GP).

* Panthers forward Jaromir Jagr (1-1—2) scored his 728th career goal to move within three goals of tying Marcel Dionne (731) for fourth place in NHL history.

* Playing in his 1,399th career game, Avalanche forward Jarome Iginla (592-639—1,231) tallied 1-1—2 to surpass Norm Ullman (490-739—1,229) into sole possession of 39th place on the NHL’s all-time scoring list. PhilHousley (338-894—1,232) holds the 38th position.

* Rangers forward Jarret Stoll (800) and Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman (400) played in milestone games.

LOOSE PUCKS
Four sets of brothers faced each other on Saturday: Brian (BUF) and Stephen Gionta(NJD); Mark (OTT) and Michael Stone (ARI); Milan (OTT) and Zbynek Michalek (ARI); and Drew (DET) and Ryan Miller (VAN) . . . The Canadiens have won eight consecutive meetings with the Maple Leafs dating to March 1, 2014 (TOR: 0-5-3) . . . Stars teammatesJamie Benn (2-0—2) and Tyler Seguin (0-2—2) connected for both Stars goals. FLAMES VISIT RANGERS ON ROGERS HOMETOWN HOCKEY
