* Monahan posted one assist to extend his point streak to six games (2-4—6).

Vancouver currently holds a two-point lead for second place in the Pacific Division, but the teams are tied in ROW (41) and Calgary won the season series 2-1-1 (VAN: 2-2-0).

This marks the seventh time the Flames and Canucks will meet in the playoffs; Calgary holds a 4-2 edge in their all-time series. They last met in the 2004 Western Conference Quarterfinals, when Martin Gelinas scored at 1:25 of overtime in Game 7 to give the Flames a 4-3 series victory (en route to a trip to the Stanley Cup Final).

* Clarke MacArthur (3-5—8) and Kyle Turris (2-6—8) both posted 1-1—2 to extend their point streaks to six and five games, respectively.
