* Derick Brassard scored twice, including the game-winner, to help the Rangers sweep a home-and-home set with the Flyers following a 3-0 win in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon. The Rangers have now won 10 consecutive regular-season home games against the Flyers, dating to Mar. 6, 2011. New York’s 10-game home winning streak against Philadelphia is their longest against one team since an 11-game stretch (also against the Flyers) from Jan. 14, 1990-Nov. 4, 1991.

* The Rangers improved to 16-4-0 in their last 20 regular-season games against the Flyers dating to Mar. 6, 2011. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the last time the Rangers won at least 16 regular season games in a 20-game span against one NHL opponent was against the Vancouver Canucks from Jan. 14, 1986-Feb. 17, 1992 (16-2-2).

* Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves to record his ninth victory of the season. Lundqvist is 9-0-0 in his last nine regular-season appearances against the Flyers on home ice with a 1.22 goals-against average, .956 save percentage and two shutouts.

* Brassard matched a career-high with two goals, his fourth career multi-goal game. The Rangers also received multi-point efforts from Jesper Fast (1-1—2) including his first career NHL goal (22 GP), J.T. Miller (1-1—2) including his first goal of the season on a highlight reel wraparound and Kevin Klein (0-2—2). Derek Stepan picked up an assist to extend his point streak to six games (1-7—8) and Rick Nash added a helper to push his point streak to five games (4-2—6).

* Jhonas Enroth made 41 saves through regulation and overtime and then stopped all five Canadiens he faced in the shootout to help Buffalo sweep Montreal in their home-and-home series following a 2-1 win in Buffalo on Friday night. The Sabres improved to 13-6-2 in their last 21 games against the Canadiens.

* Enroth, who was in goal for both back-to-back wins against Montreal, improved to 4-1-0 in his last five games with a 1.69 goals-against average and a .952 save percentage.

* Brian Flynn tied the game 3-3 with 5:56 remaining in the third period and then scored the lone goal in five shootout rounds to clinch the Buffalo win.

* Sabres captain Brian Gionta recorded an assist while skating in his 800th career NHL game and first at the Bell Centre since leaving Montreal as a free agent in the off-season.

...PENGUINS EVEN HOME-AND-HOME SERIES WITH CANES
Christian Ehrhoff’s first goal as a Penguin stood up as the game-winner as Pittsburgh evened their home-and-home set with a 3-2 win over the Hurricanes following a 4-2 loss in Carolina on Friday night. The Penguins have won four straight visits to PNC Arena and are 5-1 in their last six road games in Carolina. With the win, the Penguins equaled a franchise record for wins during the month of November with 10 (also in 1995, 2010).

* The Hurricanes paid tribute to Penguins General Manager Jim Rutherford during a stoppage in play. Rutherford returned to Carolina for the first time since joining Pittsburgh in June after serving as general manager of the Hartford/Carolina franchise from 1994-2014, including a Stanley Cup championship with the club in 2006.

BLUES STAGE ANOTHER THIRD PERIOD RALLY
Vladimir Tarasenko scored his team-leading 14th goal of the season and added the lone goal in the shootout to lead the Blues to a 3-2 win over Minnesota. Trailing 2-1 heading into the third period, David Backes tied the game 2-2 before the eventual shootout win. It was the second time in as many nights the Blues trailed in the third period before winning in extra time..

* Jake Allen made 36 saves through regulation and overtime and then stopped all three Wild attempts in the shootout to improve to 8-2-1 this season with a 2.16 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

* Tarasenko has scored 10 goals in November, the most November goals by a Blue since Pavol Demitra equaled that total in November of 2001. The last Blues player with more than 10 was Brett Hull, who scored 13 in November of 1993.

HALAK SHINES (AGAIN) IN ISLANDERS WIN…
Jaroslav Halak made 34 saves to lead the Islanders to a 3-1 win over the Devils and cap the team’s best November in 34 years. The Islanders finished the month with an 11-3-0 record, their best since the 1980-81 club that went 12-1-2 on its way to the second of four consecutive Stanley Cups. The Islanders improved to 17-7-0 this season and have won 17 of their first 24 games for the first time in franchise history.

* Halak has won a career-high nine consecutive starts, allowing just 11 goals over the nine game stretch. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Billy Smith is the only Islanders goaltender to post a longer winning streak. Smith recorded 10 straight victories for the club from Jan. 23-Feb. 25, 1982.

*Casey Cizikas (1-1—2) scored the first shorthanded goal of his career and recorded his first multi-point game of the season (third career – most recently Jan. 6, 2014 vs. DAL).

…RINNE DOES SAME FOR PREDATORS
Pekka Rinne made 21 saves for his League-leading 16th win of the season, backstopping the Predators to a 2-1 victory over the Blue Jackets. The win extended Rinne’s personal win streak to six games, his best since a career-high 11 straight victories from Jan. 7-Feb. 4, 2012. The Predators improved to 10-1-1 on home ice this season and are 11-3-2 overall in one-goal games. Colin Wilson (1-0—1) scored the eventual game-winning tally with just 2:12 left in regulation. The goal was Wilson’s fourth of the season and the 16th game-winning goal of his career. Wilson has recorded six points (3-3—6) in his last six games after just 1-3—4 in his first 15 games this season.

CALLAHAN, KILLORN LEAD LIGHTNING
Ryan Callahan (1-1—2) and Alex Killorn (1-1—2) each recorded multi-point games in a 4-1 Lightning win over the Ottawa Senators. Tampa Bay scored four consecutive goals, including three in the third period, to improve their record to 16-6-2 (34 standings points), the most wins and points through the first 24 games of a season in franchise history.

* Killorn has now extended his point streak to a career-high seven games (5-3—8).

* The Lightning improved to 14-0-0 when Callahan records a goal, dating back to last season when he was acquired from the Rangers. He has recorded six points (3-3—6) in his last three games, all Lightning wins.

* Steven Stamkos (0-1—1) has recorded a point in 13 of his past 15 games (9-11—20 over that stretch) and ranks fifth in the League with 28 points (15-13—28).

BLACKHAWKS WRAP UP ROAD TRIP WITH ANOTHER WIN
The Blackhawks wrapped up their six-game road trip with a 5-1-0 record after a 4-1 win over the Kings. Brad Richards scored twice, including the game winner, marking his first multi-goal game of the season and first with the Blackhawks.

* Kris Versteeg (0-2—2) recorded his sixth multi-point game of the season and has 18 points (7-11—18) this season including 11 points (3-8—11) in his last seven games.

* Corey Crawford made 19 saves in his 14th consecutive start, improving his overall record to 12-5-1 this season with a 1.87 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.

MORE SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS
* Tyler Bozak scored twice for the Maple Leafs and Jonathan Bernier made 35 saves for his eighth win of the season in a 6-2 victory over Washington. Bozak has scored in three consecutive games and is currently riding a four-game point streak (5-2—7). His 11 goals are a team high. Other Toronto players with multi-point efforts included Joffrey Lupul (1-1—2), Morgan Rielly (1-1—2), Phil Kessel (0-2—2), Jake Gardiner (0-2—2) and James van Riemsdyk (0-2—2).

* Karri Ramo stopped 26 shots to record his fourth career shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Coyotes. It was Ramo’s second shutout in as many appearances (32 saves in a 2-0 shutout win over SJ on Nov. 26) and the first time he has recorded back-to-back blank sheets in his NHL career. Ramo has now won four consecutive games to improve his record to 6-2-1 this season. Jiri Hudler (1-2—3) extended his goal/point to four games (5-3—8). He has scored or assisted on each of Calgary’s past six goals and leads the team with 11 goals this season. Rookie Johnny Gaudreau (1-1—2) recorded his fifth multi-point game of the season. His 13 assists are tied for the League lead among rookies and he sits second in rookie scoring with 17 points (4-13—17).

* After jumping out to a 5-1 lead in the second period, the San Jose Sharks held off an offensive push by the Ducks to come away with a 6-4 victory. Tommy Wingels set a new career-high with four points (1-3—4), and Logan Couture (2-0—2) and Patrick Marleau (0-2—2) also recorded multi-point games for San Jose.

* The Colorado Avalanche received three-point efforts from Alex Tanguay (1-2—3) and Tyson Barrie (0-3—3) en route to a 5-2 victory over the Stars. Matt Duchene (1-1—2) and Gabriel Landeskog (1-1—2) also pitched in with multi-point efforts. Nathan MacKinnon recorded an assist and now has 0-7—7 in his past five games. Both MacKinnon (5-13—18) and Barrie (2-16—18) are tied for the team lead with 18 points.

LOOSE PUCKS
Jakub Voracek (1-1—2) recorded his 11th multi-point game of the season. He now has 32 points (9-23—32) just one behind Sidney Crosby (9-24—33) in the NHL scoring race… Anaheim’s Corey Perry (2-1—3) and Ryan Getzlaf (1-2—3) each posted three-point games in a losing effort. . .Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom (0-2—2) extended his point streak to a season-high five games (1-7—8)… Stars forward Tyler Seguin (0-1—1) has recorded nine points (6-3—9) in his last six games while teammate Jamie Benn (0-1—1) extended his point streak to six games (3-7—10)…Senators forward David Legwand scored a goal while skating in his 1,000th career NHL game, the 24th active player to reach the milestone... Predators defenseman Seth Jones skated in his 100th career NHL game… Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri (0-1—1) recorded an assist while skating in his 200th career NHL game and teammate Mike Santorelli (0-1—1) recorded his 100th career NHL point… Calgary forward Sean Monahan (0-1—1) skated in his 100th career NHL game. . .
