FLYERS VISIT BLACKHAWKS ON NBCSN
The 2010 Stanley Cup finalists renew acquaintances when the Flyers visit the Blackhawks at United Center. Philadelphia has earned points in three consecutive games (1-0-2), while Chicago has yet to suffer a regulation loss this season (3-0-1). This marks the first of two meetings between these clubs in 2014-15; they will face each other again March 25 at Wells Fargo Center. Since losing to the Blackhawks in six games in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final, the Flyers have won three of their four regular-season matchups (CHI: 1-2-1), including a split of their two games last season.

ORIGINAL SIX RIVALS MEET IN MONTREAL
Original Six rivals face off in the first of four regular-season meetings when the Canadiens play host to the Red Wings at Bell Centre. Montreal has won five of its first six games to open the season, its best start since 2008-09 (5-0-1), while Detroit has suffered just one regulation loss through five games (3-1-1), its best start since 2011-12 (5-0-0). Overall, this marks the 573rd regular-season meeting between these clubs; the Canadiens (273-200-99) lead the all-time series with 645 points to the Red Wings’ 502 (203-273-96).

DESJARDINS RETURNS TO TEXAS
Head coach Willie Desjardins makes his return to Texas when he brings the Canucks to American Airlines Center to face the Stars. Desjardins spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, winning AHL Coach of the Year in 2012-13 and guiding the team to the 2014 Calder Cup. Prior to his tenure in the AHL, Desjardins also served two seasons (2010-12) as an associate coach in Dallas. This marks the first of three meetings between these clubs in 2014-15; the Stars have won four consecutive matchups against the Canucks dating to April 18, 2013, including all three last season.
