HUBERDEAU CAPS WILD NIGHT AT BB&T CENTER BY PASSING JOKINEN
Florida forward Jonathan Huberdeau (1-1—2) capped a wild night at BB&T Center with his 420th career regular-season point (143-277—420 in 512 GP) to pass Olli Jokinen (188-231—419 in 567 GP) for the most in franchise history.

* Huberdeau, one of six Panthers players to find the score sheet multiple times Sunday, became the sixth active skater to sit atop a franchise’s all-time regular-season points list. He joined Alex Ovechkin with the Capitals (684-569—1,253 in 1,130 GP), Patrick Marleau with the Sharks (516-582—1,098 in 1,536 GP), Mikko Koivu with Wild (203-498—701 in 1,006 GP), Blake Wheeler with the Jets/Thrashers (206-420—626 in 685 GP) and William Karlsson with the Golden Knights (77-90—167 in 212 GP).

* Huberdeau paces the Panthers with 61 points this season (18-43—61 in 45 GP). He became the second player in franchise history to reach the 60-point mark in 45 games or fewer, joining Pavel Bure in 1999-00 (37-24—61 in 44 GP).

The Panthers and Maple Leafs have combined for exactly 12 goals in each of their last two head-to-head meetings (also March 25, 2019: TOR 7 vs. FLA 5). Florida and Toronto became the first set of teams to combine for as many goals in consecutive head-to-head regular-season games since Pittsburgh and Winnipeg nearly eight years ago (Feb. 11, 2012: PIT 8 vs. WPG 5; March 20, 2012: PIT 8 vs. WPG 4).

CANUCKS CLIMB TIGHTLY-CONTESTED PACIFIC DIVISION STANDINGS

The Canucks defeated the Wild to improve to 25-17-4 (54 points) this season and move past the idle Oilers (24-18-5, 53 points) and Golden Knights (24-18-6, 54 points) for third place in the tightly-contested Pacific Division standings – where the top five teams are separated by just two points.

* Vancouver improved to 9-2-0 in its last 11 games dating to Dec. 19, 2019. The Canucks were eight points back of the first-place team in the Pacific Division standings entering play Dec. 19, 2019 and have since closed the gap to just one.

DEVILS SNAP LIGHTNING’S WIN STREAK AT 10 GAMES
Andy Greene and Miles Wood each posted 1-1—2 to help New Jersey snap Tampa Bay’s win streak at 10 games, marking the fourth time in which the Devils/Rockies/Scouts franchise ended an opponent’s double-digit run. A look back at the three previous instances:

Feb. 16, 1982 (CLR 3 at MTL 3)
* Veli-Pekka Ketola scored two of his nine career goals in the NHL as the Rockies and Canadiens skated to a tie at Montreal Forum, snapping the hosts’ win streak at 11 contests.

April 14, 1993 (NJD 6 vs. PIT 6)
* Claude Lemieux collected 2-1—3 to reach the 30-goal mark for a third consecutive season and help New Jersey end Pittsburgh’s win streak at 17 games, which remains the longest in League history.

March 10, 2018 (NJD 3 at NSH 2)
* Brian Boyle scored in regulation and netted the decisive goal in the shootout as the Devils snapped the eventual Presidents’ Trophy winner’s franchise-record run at 10-0-0.
