ALL-STARS TAKE TO THE ICE SATURDAY FOR SKILLS COMPETITION
The 2018 GEICO NHL All-Star Skills Competition will showcase hockey’s top talent on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET at AMALIE Arena in Tampa, Fla. (NBCSN, CBC, Sportsnet, TVA Sports). The 2018 GEICO NHL All-Star Skills Competition will feature six individual competitions, with the winner of each event earning $25,000. Click here for a detailed event-by-event breakdown.

ZACH WERENSKI ADDED TO METROPOLITAN DIVISION ROSTER

Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski has been added to the Metropolitan Division roster for the 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Game as a replacement for teammate Seth Jones. Click here for updated rosters.

NHL, LIGHTNING OPEN NEW BALL HOCKEY RINK

The NHL, Lightning, and Lightning Foundation dropped the puck at a brand new outdoor ball hockey rink, donated as a legacy to the 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend. The rink, donated to the recently renamed Jeff and Penny Vinik Family Boys & Girls Club in Tampa, will service hundreds of youth in the area each year.

* Players arriving for the 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Game were greeted by adoptable puppies from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.



* Predators defenseman P.K. Subbanhosted Enterprise NHL All-Star Friday Night, a free concert at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa. An estimated crowd of 11,924 attended the show headlined byFitz and The Tantrums to open the 2018 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend festivities.
