BERGERON’S HAT TRICK HELPS BRUINS PUSH POINT STREAK TO 15 GAMES
Patrice Bergeron (3-0—3) scored his second hat trick of the season (4-1—5 on Jan. 6 vs. CAR) to help the Bruins push their point streak to 15 games (11-0-4), the longest in the NHL this season.

* This marks the ninth time in franchise history that the Bruins have recorded one or more points in at least 15 consecutive games – and third time in the past seven seasons (also 15 GP in 2011-12 and 16 GP in 2013-14). They are the only club with more than two point streaks of at least 15 games since 2011-12.

* Bergeron became the fourth player to record multiple hat tricks this season, joining Alex Ovechkin (3), Gabriel Landeskog (2) and John Tavares (2). He also became the first Bruins player to score multiple hat tricks in a span of six team games since Rick Tocchet in 1995-96 (5 GP).

AVALANCHE EXTEND WIN STREAK TO EIGHT CONTESTS
Nathan MacKinnon (2-1—3) factored on three of five goals and Jonathan Bernier made 45 saves to help the Avalanche extend their win streak to eight games, tied for the longest in the NHL this season (w/ LAK and VGK). Colorado registered a win streak of at least eight contests for the first time since posting an equal run from Dec. 31, 2005 – Jan. 17, 2006.

* MacKinnon extended his point streak to eight games (7-10—17) and pushed his totals to 22-35—57 overall this season (44 GP), trailing onlyNikita Kucherov (27-34—61) for the most points in the NHL.

* Bernier – whose 45 saves were a season high – has earned victories in seven consecutive appearances dating to Dec. 31 (1.54 GAA, .957 SV%, 1 SO), extending the longest win streak of his NHL career.

FLYERS RALLY AFTER RETIRING LINDROS’ No. 88
On the night former captain Eric Lindros’ No. 88 was retired in a pre-game ceremony at Wells Fargo Center, the Flyers overcame a 2-0 deficit in the third period and Sean Couturier scored 18 seconds into overtime to power Philadelphia to a 5-1-0 record in its last six contests.

* Couturier has scored eight times in his last six games (8-2—10) and boosted his 2017-18 totals to 26-20—46 overall (45 GP), extending his single-season career highs for goals and points. Only Alex Ovechkin (28) and Nikita Kucherov (27) have scored more goals this season.

* Lindros joined Bernie Parent (No. 1), Mark Howe (No. 2), Barry Ashbee (No. 4), Bill Barber (No. 7) and Bobby Clarke (No. 16) as the only players to have their number retired by the Flyers. Lindros, who played his first eight NHL seasons with Philadelphia, collected 290-369—659 in 486 career contests and is the franchise’s all-time leader in points per game (1.36).

GOLDEN KNIGHTS DEFEAT LIGHTNING TO REACH 30-WIN MARK
Four different skaters found the back of the net and Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves to help the Western Conference-leading Golden Knights(30-11-3, 63 points) defeat the League-leading Lightning (31-11-3, 65 points) and move within two points of Tampa Bay for first place in the NHL standings. Vegas became the fifth team in NHL history to reach the 30-win mark in its inaugural season.

* Fleury improved to 10-3-2 this season (1.72 GAA, .945 SV%, 2 SO) and paces the NHL in goals-against average (tied) and save percentage among netminders to appear in at least 15 games. He also earned the 385th win of his NHL career to move into a tie with Mike Vernon for 14th place on the NHL’s all-time list among goaltenders.

ANOTHER 20-GOAL SEASON FOR MARCHAND, TARASENKO
Bruins forward Brad Marchand (20-26—46) and Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko (20-25—45) both reached the 20-goal mark for the fifth straight season:

* Marchand became the first Bruins player to reach the 20-goal mark in five consecutive seasons (all w/ BOS) since Joe Thornton posted an equal run from 1999-00 to 2003-04.

* Tarasenko became the first Blues player to reach the 20-goal mark in five consecutive seasons (all w/ STL) since Pavol Demitra did so in seven straight from 1997-98 to 2003-04.
