May 26, 2017 – After a thrilling Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final, NHL Network today announced its comprehensive coverage plans for the 2017 Stanley Cup Final between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators, with up to 68 hours of live programming on-site in Pittsburgh and Nashville starting with Media Day this Sunday, May 28.
Every day throughout the Stanley Cup Final, NHL Network will provide in-depth previews, interviews, highlights and analysis across studio programming, featuring analysts Mike Johnson, Brian Lawton, Mike Rupp and Kevin Weekes, and hosts and reporters Jamison Coyle, Jamie Hersch, E.J. Hradek, Tony Luftman, Michelle McMahon and Steve Mears. The daily programming schedule is as follows:

Tomorrow, May 27, NHL Network will air one-hour recap shows on each team’s season to date with NHL Tonight: How They Got There, focusing on the Predators at 7:00 p.m. ET and the Penguins at 8:00 p.m. ET. In between Games 1 and 2, NHL Network will televise the premiere of NHL Animated: Stanley Cup Stories, hosted by broadcaster and hockey fan Boomer Esiason, on Tuesday, May 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The new series, produced by IMG Original Productions and Reveal Entertainment in association with NHL Original Productions, brings legendary hockey stories to life with anecdotes told by the players themselves, including Hall of Famers Wayne Gretzky, Luc Robitaille, Denis Savard and Bryan Trottier.
Throughout its coverage of the Stanley Cup Final, a free preview of NHL Network will be offered to Comcast video customers in Nashville and to customers of Armstrong, Comcast and Consolidated Communications in Pittsburgh. The free previews are in addition to NHL Network’s existing distribution with video providers across the country.
In addition to its Stanley Cup Final coverage, NHL Network will look ahead to the 2017 NHL Draft with two one-hour specials, including NHL Tonight: Top 31 Draft Prospects on Thursday, June 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET and NHL Tonight: Scouting Combine Special on Saturday, June 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
