The NHL announced the 2012-13 All-Rookie Team, featuring forwards Brendan Gallagher, Jonathan Huberdeau and Brandon Saad; defensemen Jonas Brodin and Justin Schultz; and goaltender Jake Allen . . . In a cover vote campaign that received 22 million votes online an addition 1 million votes via Twitter, Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur was selected as the cover athlete of the upcoming NHL 14 video game . . . An estimated 2 million people attended the Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup parade.
 
 
2013 NHL DRAFT
The 2013 NHL Draft will be held on Sunday, June 30, at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., beginning at 3:00 p.m. All seven rounds of the draft will be conducted on the same day for the first time since 2006. TSN will televise the event live in Canada and RDS will present exclusive French-language coverage. In the U.S., NBC Sports Network will present live coverage from 3:00-8:00 p.m., after which NHL Network will provide continuing coverage.
