New Jersey Devils Beat The New Yori Rangers 3-2, Series Tied At One Game Apiece

Just like that, the Devils now grab the home-ice advantage.

It was the Rangers who had difficulty scoring goals tonight and although they controlled the 1st period, it was the Devils who had more of an offensive push in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Gaborik with 3:07 of ice time in the 3rd period.  Even strength for the whole game was 12:06.

I wonder if he will get the message Torts is trying to send?

Or will Gaborik send Torts the same message Ovechkin sent Hunter. I’ll be here after you are gone?

not a chance that management chooses Gaborik over Torts.  If you look at the young core this team has built and what Torts has done with bringing these kids up I can guarantee if it came down to that then Gaborik would be on the trade block.
