New Candidate For Bruins GM

The GM's job with the Bruins has taken a strange twist and Senators assistant GM Peter Chiarelli has emerged as the front-runner. While Boston offered the post to Nashville assistant GM Ray Shero, he walked away from talks yesterday because they couldn't agree on a deal. Sources say talks between Senators president Roy Mlakar and Bruins executive VP Charlie Jacobs heated up yesterday to free Chiarelli from the final two years of his contract.
