Negative Feedback On NHL Realignment

from Stan Fischler of MSG Network,

• The NHL realignment idea is inspiring significant negative feedback. As one high NHL Exec says, “Why are they always finding something wrong and looking to change? I’ve never seen the league change so much so often. Who does Gary Bettman listen to anyway? The system is perfect the way it is now with great races all over the place.”
• Pittsburgh insiders with whom we talk believe that the Penguins will be saved for Pitt with some behind-the-scenes wheeling-dealing. However, no one is willing to bet on it because of Pennsylvania politics. Should all attempts fail, the Pens could wind up in, 1. Houston; 2. Kansas City; 3. Las Vegas; 4. Oklahoma City.
