Neal Says He Can Play Tonight

via Sam Kasan of Penguins Report,

Some great news from the locker room. Both (Craig) Adams and (Iames) Neal said they are good to go and ready to play in tonight’s game against Ottawa. We’ll wait for coach Dan Bylsma to confirm, but if nothing else it’s at least a positive development on the injury front.

That’s real good news. Apparently it’s a pre-existing hairline fracture that he’s going to be able to play through. Adams is good to go.

Letang’s skating and ramping up his 1on1 workouts.

Good news is wonderful.

Per Dave Molinari the PG Beat Writer:

X-ray showed what looked like fracture in Neal’s foot; MRI showed it to actually be bone bruise he’d gotten previously, according to Bylsma

Seriously, though, awesome news.  Jeffrey is close, too, I think.
