Pro-tip for those of you with Dolby 5.1 systems - turn the center channel all the way down (or disconnect it) to remove the announcers from the game entirely.

For those of you without I suggest finding a recording of grinding metal, nails on a chalkboard, or that sounds forks make against dishes and turning that up to 11 during gameplay.

It’s bad enough I have to deal with the trio of Emrick, Olcyzk and McGuire but putting up with more of those ridiculous Roenick clown segments? It’s an embarassment that NBC Sports thinks this is the best way to broadcast hockey.
