Nashville The “Model” For The New NHL

It's usually the other way around. Upstart new teams tend to look up to the older, more established franchises. That wasn't the case Monday, however, when Blackhawks coach Trent Yawney looked ahead to his team's road game tonight against the Nashville Predators. The Hawks, of course, are one of the NHL's "Original Six'' franchises. The Predators are in their only seventh season, with just one playoff appearance to show for the first six. Still, Yawney called the unbeaten Predators "the model of the 'new game.'''
