Nagy Decision Due Monday

The Coyotes will find out how much Nagy will cost them Monday. The league set Sunday as the deadline for arbitration decisions but the arbitrator was granted an extension. “Both sides conducted themselves very professionally thought the process, and as we’ve indicated all along, we assumed a third party would be needed to decide the case,” said Matt Keator, Nagy’s agent. Sources indicated the Coyotes offered Nagy between $2.5 and $3 million but it is believed he asked for well in excess of $1 million more. Whatever the amount is, Phoenix is expected to accept it.
