Kukla's Korner Hockey

My Apologies

Normally I would have caught the latest and now last blog post at The Puck Stops Here but I have been under the weather yesterday and dosed off.

I apologize if the post offended you as it did me and I do want to say his opinion does not reflect my views or anyone else at Kukla's Korner.

The post has been take down and The Puck Stops here will not be a part of the site moving forward.

I NOW Consider Kukla’s Korner To Be Self-Indulgent-Blogger Free. grin

The wierd part is I thought The Link Goes to Himself was already gone. Ya gotta love that Ignore feature.

Wow!  The fact is that Kukla’s Korner is now new and improved.  That guy was quite the creep (he deleted more than one post of mine which debunked some pet thing of his).

The last post proved him to be a racist.  Now I am not perfect, but I know my prejudices and try to make my view of humanity better each day.

We need more diversity in the player base for hockey,. but that is coming with each passing month.  I love our game and want it to be stronger.  Attitudes such as Former Blogger expressed only weaken and harm our game.

I now step off my soapbox.  Thank one and all for indulging me.

I always thought that guy might be “on the spectrum” as they say. Something about the way he writes makes me think he doesn’t quite grasp appropriate social conduct. There’s at least a lot of weird paranoia going on there.

What happened? I would just bench him for few days, and then I would order him to think twice before he shoots (the words). Like Tortorella says - to make a mistake is fine unless you make it repeatedly. We cannot afford to lose a good grinder grin

I think this is an oversensitive reaction to a perfectly valid question, though I agree his article wasn’t very well argued.

I don’t find it one bit oversensitive. Imagine the storm that hit Paul’s inbox as reaction to his blog post spread.

It’s the fact that the article wasn’t well argued that earns the reaction. If you are going to cross that line, you better have your ducks in a row. Otherwise, it becomes a hate speech. Paul doesn’t have to promote that.

I’m all caught up now. I should have done more reading before posting.
