They better stop posturing and get the details nailed down for an agreement. If they have another lockout, work stoppage, whatever they call it - the NHL is going to be in trouble—they already are competing with the NFL, College Football is getting bigger in the States, MLB is more competitive with the extra wild cards, & NBA will soon be starting—that’s a lot of competition. They are just getting established with a new TV deal on the Versus/NBC—- ticket prices are going up—& economic times are tough—if a consumer is having to make choices,—-not seeing any NHL on tv or live, might be the easiest thing to give up.
