He should stop whining, move on, and realize that he is now on a team that has a really good chance of winning the cup.

He just got traded and played his first game with his new team, the dude was asked a question about what went wrong with his previous employer and gave a sincere answer.

Not sure how we can chalk that up as whining.  Now, if he’s still talking about it a few months from now after he potentially adds a second ring to his hand I’ll smoke that pipe with you.

Because it’s bull.  He was put on the top line and given more minutes per game than he got last year.  What more opportunity do you want?

Burke admitted Versteeg might not have fit in, without placing an iota of blame on Versteeg, AND traded the guy to the best team in the East, giving Versteeg the best chance of any 09/10 Blackhawk player of repeating as Stanley Cup champion.

So why does he have to be negative?

Oh, I think I know, because every time he’s opened his mouth in front of a microphone he’s shown that he’s a douche, so why be different now?

Garth = Correct!

Versteeg = Douche!

Good call Garth, you speak the truth there.  I am not sad he and his attitude are gone.  He doesn’t have to do much there so succeed so he’ll be fine.
