Upon consideration, my comments about @mc79hockey (15 mins of fame, etc.) were gratuitous and unnecessary. I retract and apologize. My bad.

Upon consideration
Hmm, wonder if consideration = “hockey fan” blowback? Give Cox credit for “reconsidering” the opinions of his readers = his paycheck. Something the “good old boy” network in the NHL would, obviously, never do.
Is it any wonder that the NHL ranks last among the other “major sports”?

Was is too difficult for Cox to mention Tyler Dellow’s name in the tweet? Even when Cox apologizes, he still comes off as a pompous jerk.

Brooks weighs in sans ass-kissing http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/more_sports/campbell_must_go_7mmD1Erytmt558lEYzYWSN
as did Dupont of the Boston Globe. Maybe the Canadians are just too connected.

On thank God. I wouldn’t have to want to worry about Cox’s integrity.
Jackass.

Perhaps not. But you, and all fans resembling you, contribute absolutely nothing to the betterment of rank or the league itself. Consummate bashers and whiners are not particularly interesting to read or listen to.

Consummate bashers and whiners are not particularly interesting to read or listen to. But apparently interesting enough to read and respond to. Do you even know what is being discussed, or is it just the redwing avatar you’re talking to?

Yeah, that’s pretty funny, isn’t it?
I’m still wondering how someone from Denmark ends up a Penguins fan. My guess is he saw his first NHL hockey game in 1991, 1992, or 2009.

Fortunately, the NHL has fans like Moq as well, who aren’t consumate anythings.\
It balances out, no?

I am always more than willing to bash Damien Cox, but if his apaology is sincere then I will accept it on face value and commend him for recognizing his bias.

Moq knows his hockey,
I look forward to reading his comments, even though he sees the game without the red tinted glasses.

Such a bitch, and interestingly enough complains so much about bashers and whiners to be in his own category. Is a basher and whiner of the bashers and whiners any better than the bashers and whiners?
Their comments aren’t interesting enough to read through, but they’re certainly worth responding to so often, aren’t they Moq?

...‘e-mail story’...
- Bill Daly
It’s not a story that originated on the ‘Net, Daly. It’s evidence sibmitted to the Canadian Labour Board.
Just shut up already, Daly.

I guess the lesson for Damien is that you need to be careful what you write, or someone might take it the wrong way and think you were biased. Against bloggers.
