I think most Sens fans will still remember him by the OT winner in game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals vs. Buffalo, to send Ottawa to their first Stanley Cup Final. However, last night was likely a close second.

If it’s the goal he’s remembered for, it will be fitting for the Senators and their Captain. A spectacular play at the right time to force an OT and win a playoff game en route to a 2nd round ouster and no Cup. He’s a great player but the closest he ever brought his team to the Cup was getting crushed in 5 in the Finals. And that’s the closest that team will get for a long time.

Gotta love those Swedish Captains.
But I will always remember him more for chucking that Leaf players stick over the glass, I can’t recall who it was though.

There were some Pens fans last night at the casino that left right after Alfie scored that goal.  Not entirely sure what that meant, but they had dejected looks on their faces.  An OT and a half later, OTT’s Greening pots it.
