My favorite part of this quote is the “we’re too dumb to figure this out on our own” that Lombardi doesn’t even realize he’s implying here.

Ugh. They interviewed the wrong person in the organization. Farmer Brown err Sutter would have had a far superior grasp of the machinations of foreign currency exchange than Lombardi.
