Morning Line- Michael Russo

Six games into a miserable start to their season, the Wild are proving to be an aging, plodding, aggravating-to-watch team and one that’s finding itself outmatched just long enough in games against younger, faster, more skilled teams that they’re unable to overcome the spurts of ineptitude that have occurred in every game except versus bottom-dwelling Ottawa.

-Michael Russo of The Athletic after the Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 to the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Russo has more (paid) on the state of the Wild.

Proving to be…? Ineptitude? Russo is a shill and wanna be GM who thinks he knows how to GM and Coach. He’s blowing in the wind any which way Leopold or Boudreau fart. These guys he’s chiding are seasoned vets who know what they’re doing. They look like a veteran shut down playoff team waiting to happen. Boudreau historically wears out his teams during the regular season and cant finish. He’s trying something different.  Boudreau has a different attitude this year, and publically calls out individual players. He’s not blowing a gasket if they lose. Its six games against league contenders. Wtf Russo? No perspective. Just mouthpiece, talking out his ass. Boudreau reminds me of the Kings Coach Darryl Sutter when they went from last to Stanley Cuo Champions. Wild are made of character Russo. You disparagement of players will have no effect. You ain’t that big a deal.
