This is confusing, I thought it was common knowledge that Bettman has no soul.

Jimmy Murphy tweet,

owner Jeremy Jacobs made it clear that due to market (income, TV) he doesn’t see a NHL team in Quebec City anytime soon. Cited Houston maybe being the next after Seattle.

33 team league eh?

I’m kind of excited to see how many we can add.  Can you imagine a 40 team league??  How awesome.  I’ve been saying it for a while, water this baby down.

If they play their cards right we can bypass summer all together and make hockey 365.  Yeehaw! Imagine the revenues from Eddie O and Roenick commentated games alone.

Then we could make January outdoor month and have every team play in an outdoor one of a kind game.

Imagine the revenues!

Gets me so freaking jazzed bro!

Mexico City.. get ready.. hockey is coming..

Start getting the cartel revenues.  My mouth is watering right now.

Both of those posts are pretty damn funny – until you stop and realize how accurate they are. Then? Not so funny.

Jacobs would like to add more teams simply because he can use his company “Delaware North” to gain control of the concessions at another arena.

Seriously, read a little about Delaware North and how they sued the National Park Services when they list the concessions contract at Yosemite National Park. His company sued claiming they owned the trademark to Yosemite, and the peak in the park known as “Half Dome”.

In fact, Jacobs company controls the concessions at LCA. So every dog and beer you purchase puts money in the pocket of the Bruins…. sick

As you can imagine, Sportsnet is on the Quebec City comments from Jacobs,

On Wednesday, Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs held an end-of-season press conference alongside his son Charlie and team president Cam Neely. Most of the questions centred around the Bruins, but when Jacobs was asked about the success from expansion Vegas and a small market in Winnipeg, the discussion eventually turned to Quebec City and why it always seemed to be overshadowed in expansion/relocation talks.
