No hearing for Callahan. I'm both shocked and not surprised even a little bit. So NHL endorses these hits. It's open season now.
NHL is still of the mind that victim is primarily responsible when he is hit illegally. Strange philosophy, but that's how they think.
To be fair, Quintal et al do put a lot of thought into decisions. They agonize over them. Just different philosophy.
For me, I want Letang going back trying to make a play rather than foregoing trying to make a play just to protect himself. That's the game!
