More Than Just A Carnival

For about five hours Sunday afternoon at the Wachovia Center, Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock will pose for photographs, sign autographs and, if prodded, he might even climb into the dunk tank as he and his players take part in the 29th annual Flyers' Wives Fight For Lives Carnival. But for Hitchcock, the Carnival has a much deeper meaning. When he was 12, Hitchcock's father, Ray, was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his back. Two years later, at the age of 40, Ray Hitchcock lost his battle to cancer...
