Don’t they use like 500 pucks during the course of the game?  Is there something special about the puck on the ice when the horn blows at the end of the 3rd period?

I gotta admit, his larceny of the pucks from games 1 and 2 was pretty funny.

But remember during the 2002 playoffs when Steve Yzerman slipped Pronger’s attempt to stand him up at the blue line, and Chris tore his ACL?

That was even funnier.

i have a lot of sports hatred going on for prongs ... maybe cause he never played on “my” team/s. but you just HAVE to love him for the fact that he’s as skilled as he’s dirty. wows me everytime i think about it ... where would edmonton have been without him, where would philly be now without pronger?! have to admit the ducks would still be a heck of a team without pronger, but he sure was the missing piece! so i guess i “hate” him as much as i adore him ... his hockey iq as a d-man is second only to lidstrom.

If you trade Lidstrom to Edmonton or Philadelphia, does he lead his respective team to the SCF ala Pronger?

I don’t think so.

But I’d take Yzerman over Prongs any day as well.

nope, sorry, un-uh, just an ass being an ass, cutesy, funny boy, etc. Don’t like him, probably never will, gets too much credit, always trying to get away w/ something. I’ll take the perfect human everyday. Schlonger loses 7 teeth like Duncan keith? He’s out for two games. jus’ don’t like the guy.

This whole puck episode has reflected poorly on the guy.

Who is thinking about the game puck with seconds remaining in a one-goal Stanley Cup Final game? Just odd and small on his part. And this reaction to what is, basically, a legitimate question . . . it all seems beneath him if that is possible. What a stroke.
