More Mobile Sens Defense

As the Senators prepare to open camp one week from today at Scotiabank Place, coach Bryan Murray declared yesterday the club is confident in its blueline. While the loss of the 6-foot-9 unrestricted free agent to the Boston Bruins is going to hurt, Murray believes the Senators will move on. Murray said the additions of free- agent Joe Corvo and Tom Preissing (acquired from Chicago) are going to help. “My belief is that if you sat right down today, we have 6-7 solid guys on defence and we have other guys who are going to come into camp and push for jobs,” said Murray. “I do believe that we’re going to have more mobility on our defence.
