Kukla's Korner Hockey

Interesting stat that was flashed on the screen last night during the Caps/Bolts game.
More goals by one player on a team than any teammate's point total-
-Brett Hull in St. Louis had 70 goals, Brendan Shanahan had 69 points
-Paul Kariya had 50 goals for the Mighty Ducks, Steve Rucchin had 44 points
- Luc Robitaille scored 39 for LA Kings, Donald Audette had 36 points
-The Russian Rocket Pavel Bure had 59 goals in Florida, Viktor Kozlov had 37 points.
Pretty amazing stat and I think Ovechkin may fall into this category this year. But I had the sound down during the game so I am not so sure. Plus all of these stats were from 1990 forward, so another player may have done this before that time period.
