The last post in the previous blog stated Billy Daly was frustrated.
Now this...
Bill Daly said NHL is urging NHLPA to submit a full proposal re. the HRR split so there is clarity b4 tackling player contracting issues.

Daly emphasizes that owners absolutely will not accept a $ proposal that guarantees an amount of revenue to players, compared to % of pie

Don't put cash on Tues #NHL#NHLPA happening or lasting long again unless NHL gets assurance they're getting a full proposal from PA.

As we said before the meeting, werepeat post-meeting. NHL wants an understanding on the PA's economics before flexing on contract issues.

My read: PA is nervous if it gives here, NHL will ask for more there. NHL is nervous if it talks about one issue, other targets move. Dicey.

The Players will further discuss plans tonight. Could see a series of smaller proposals from PA tomorrow in the form of "give and take."

And with that, I am done for the night, tomorrow is another day without hockey.
