Eventually, the Devils might have to accept that in this new NHL, they are a flawed club with a deserving record. What's more, their play is probably indicative of what they can expect over the final 64 games. That realization might come as early as this weekend with a difficult Friday night home game against Montreal and an even tougher Saturday trip to Ottawa. "I don't think that anyone can feel good about where we are with reference to our record," Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello said Wednesday.
